Paul’s Missionary Journeys

Greetings to my online community,

As you can see, I have not implemented the new design as of yet. But in the meantime, I am still studying the Bible. I am currently working on Paul’s life and his missionary trips. It’s so exciting but I am glad that I did not have to walk in his shoes!

I have not completed this portion yet, but I wanted to let you know that I am working on it.

I pray that you are studying your Bible and learning more about God, the love of Jesus, and how to follow the Holy Spirit in your daily life.

Feel free to send any prayer requests via the Contact Us button on the main Bible Roadmap website page.  I have removed the ability to comment on any of the blog postings because I am getting so much spam.

Redesign Status

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am in the middle of a redesign for the Bible Roadmap website. I am not redesigning the content, but just how it is presented to you. I started this website back in 2011, and it looks very archaic.  I am trying to make it more modern and easier to use. I have a lot of good ideas, but it is taking a lot of time.  Please be patient.

Love you all,

Servant in Christ & Bible Roadmap Webmaster

The Life of Jesus

Welcome back to our website.  I have just finished the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You will find it all under “Jesus Here on the Earth” [2.3] on the website.

This is a LOT of information!  I divided it up into the following categories:

  • Jesus’ birth & start of His ministry
  • Jesus’ disciples
  • Who Jesus Is
  • Miracles Jesus Performed
  • Teachings of Jesus
    • on Salvation
    • on Living for Jesus
    • on Prayer & Worship
    • about Children
    • on Money and Finances
    • about the end times
    • how to apply His teachings
  • The Passion of The Christ – including His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension back to Heaven

Of course, this could have been organized a million different ways. I just followed the Holy Spirit to do it the way I was lead. I hope you enjoy it!

Feel free to contact the webmaster (see Contact Us from the main website) with comments or suggestions.

David

I have completed 1 Samuel, which is mostly about David’s life prior to becoming king.  In the future, I will document David as King of Judah, and then King of ALL Israel.

Here are some of the highlights about David prior to becoming king:

  • Samuel anoints David as King (this is when David is a young shepherd)
  • David serves in King Saul’s court as a harp player
  • The battle between David and Goliath – you know who wins!
  • Jonathan (Saul’s son) and David become best friends
  • King Saul repeatedly tries to kill young David. Although David ends up on the run from King Saul, David never hurts the king, even when he has the opportunity to do so.
  • David marries Michal, and then Abigail and Ahinoam.
  • David has many sons.

I hope you are enjoying this website. Feel free to contact the webmaster (see Contact Us from the main website) with comments or suggestions.

Birth of Jesus Christ

Merry Christmas!

To celebrate the birth of Christ, I have completed Jesus’ birth on the website.

I’ve included some of the Old Testament prophesies, which I think you will really find interesting. This is only a subset of ALL the over 600 prophesies about Jesus the Messiah.

You will find all the parts of the Christmas story in the Word of God – Joseph’s decision to take Mary as his wife, the angels telling the shepherds that the Messiah is born, the wise men visiting the newborn king of the Jews.

Happy studying!

1 Samuel

I have completed the book of 1 Samuel. With that, you will find Samuel, King Saul, and some of David added to the Bible Roadmap website.

It starts with Hannah praying for a son then dedicating Samuel to the Lord. Samuel is raised by Eli and becomes a great prophet.  Eventually the people ask for a king – they want what their neighboring nations have. So the Lord directs Samuel to anoint Saul as Israel’s first king. But King Saul doesn’t completely obey the Lord, and God eventually rejects him as king.  The Lord then directs Samuel to anoint David as the next king. David is on the run from King Saul for much of 1 Samuel.  When we get to 2 Samuel, David becomes King of Judah and then King of all of Israel.

I hope you are enjoying this website. Feel free to contact the webmaster (see Contact Us from the main website) if you want to be notified whenever an update is made.

Stay tuned for the rest of the sections on “Kings Reign Over a United Israel” – it will include King David and King Solomon.

New Site Map

Good afternoon – I pray you are having a BLESSED DAY!

I have been able to update the Site Map for this website.  Even with only having a small portion of the Bible completed, the Site Map was quite large – over 200 rows! It is nice to see the big picture of how all the diagrams and scripture pages fit together (what I call the hierarchy), but it is a lot to sift through when you are looking for something specific.

So now when you go to the Site Map, you will have 2 options:

  1. Show All – which will show the entire hierarchy (all the diagrams and scripture pages and how they fit together).
  2. Show Top Levels – which will show just the high levels of the hierarchy.  By clicking on the buttons, you can expand or contract various legs of the hierarchy as you are interested in the content

I also added a scroll bar, so when you are viewing the hierarchy in its entirety, its easier to maneuver around on the page.

Note that the Site Map does not include the pages which you can get to from the top navigation bar and left side navigation bar, since they are accessible from every page within the website.

Judges and Ruth

Yeah, the Judges and Ruth are now complete!  You can enjoy reading about Samson & Delilah’s love affair (such as it was), or the story of the man Gideon who keeps asking God for a sign. He just needed more confirmation that God wanted to use HIM – don’t we all.

I also added a section for Searching for Women of the Bible. There are so many good examples of Godly women in the Bible, and all us women can all learn much from them on how to live our lives today.

I hope you are enjoying my website. Feel free to email the webmaster or comment on this blog if you have any questions or would like to see something additional on the website.

God Bless,
Your Sister in Christ

Joshua

I’ve completed the book of Joshua, where the Israelites take the Promised Land.  I’m sure you’ve heard of the famous Battle of Jericho. Be sure to check out the chart on Possessing the Promised Land.

I’ve also added a Roadmap to Heaven – God’s original intent was the Garden of Eden, but the Fall separated us from God. To remedy this and bring us back to Him, God sent Jesus to earth and then to the Cross.  All we have to do is:

  • (A)dmit we are a sinner,
  • (B)elieve that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, and
  • (C)onfess that Jesus is the only way to God and commit to live for Him

Give your life to Christ and make Him your Lord and Savior today!

Now on to the book of Judges …

God bless,

🙂

Status – Pentateuch completed

I have completed Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy!  The website now goes from Creation through when the Israelites were ready to enter the Promised Land.

With this, I have 3 of the charts completed:

  • Ten Commandments
  • Old Testament Offerings
  • Jewish Festivals

Check out the Tribe of Levi genealogy too!
